What data we collect

• Data entered in the "Request a free quote" form: full name, phone number, e-mail (optional), town where the work is (optional), type of work, description of the request and any photos attached of the area to be renovated, together with the language of the site from which the request was sent.
• Browsing data: the computer systems that run this website automatically record, in the server's standard log files, some technical information (IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser used). This data is needed for the operation and security of the website and is kept only for as long as strictly necessary.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To respond to your request for information, a site survey or a quote, and for the contacts that follow (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject).
• To comply with legal obligations, if the request turns into a contract (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• To ensure the security of the website and prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest).

Providing the data marked as required in the form (name and phone number) is necessary for us to reply; without it we cannot process the request. All other data is optional.

How long we keep it

Request data is kept for as long as needed to reply and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If the request leads to a contract, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by law (10 years for tax and accounting records).

Who can access the data

The data is processed by the controller's authorised internal staff. It may be accessed, as data processors or independent controllers, by the providers of the technical services needed to run the website and e-mail (hosting provider and e-mail service provider). The data is not disclosed or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

The e-mail service used (Google) may involve a transfer of data outside the EU; the transfer takes place on the basis of the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (EU-US adequacy decision and standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

At any time you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing and request data portability (Articles 15-22 GDPR) by writing to eliaedilimpianti@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Cookie policy

This website does not use cookies, tracking or profiling tools, or analytics services. Fonts and images are hosted on our own servers and are not requested from third parties.

The only information saved in your browser is whether you have closed the notice that the site is available in another language: it is stored only for the duration of your visit (sessionStorage), does not identify you and is not sent to anyone.

The "Projects near me" feature asks the browser for the device position only when you press the button: the position is used solely in the browser to work out distances to our projects and is neither transmitted nor stored.

The website contains links to external services (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Maps). By clicking these links you are taken to the websites of the respective operators, which apply their own privacy and cookie policies.
